Steve Tendon Speaks at Blockchain in Practice

On August 2, 2017, Steve Tendon delivered a talk entitled “Malta: The Blockchain Island” at the “Blockchain in Practice” event organized by Agilis Limited.

Steve highlighted how Malta is uniquely positioned to take advantage of blockchain technologies in all sectors of the economy, including: digital identity management, internet of things, health care, financial services, iGaming, public services and more.

He concluded the talk with a call to action to the audience, inviting everybody to get acquainted with the technology and to start thinking about how to re-conceive their own busineses in light of the features of blockchain technologies. The “Blockchain Island” vision can only be realized if all sectors of society cooperate in its achievement.
